The Broken Christian

The Broken Christian

The Broken Christian embodies the season of valleys, when grief, sin, trauma, or failure press heavily against the soul. It is a time of raw honesty, when the heart feels cracked like fragile clay jars and hope can seem far away. Yet paradoxically, it is here that God often feels closest, bending low to bind wounds, carry burdens, and prove that His strength is made perfect in weakness. This season teaches that brokenness is not something to be hidden but something God redeems, shaping it into testimony.

Scripture is filled with examples of the broken made whole — David weeping after failure, Elijah collapsing in despair, Peter crushed after denying Christ. Their stories show that God does not recoil from human weakness but enters into it with compassion and power. In this stage, tears are not wasted; they water the soil of humility, birthing empathy for others and a deeper reliance on grace. Pain becomes a tutor, teaching lessons of dependence, surrender, and the unfailing mercy of Christ.

Though brokenness feels like an ending, it is often the beginning of true transformation. Cracks in the heart allow the light of God’s love to shine through in ways that unbroken pride never could. Slowly, healing begins, and with it comes a renewed readiness to grow again — this time with greater wisdom and deeper roots. The Broken Christian season does not leave a believer shattered; it clears the ground for a season of growth where faith, character, and life itself are reshaped by God’s restoring hand.

The Broken Christian

This series uncovers the mystery of Genesis 15 and the covenant “cut” with Abraham. By stepping into the ancient ritual, we discover how God removed Abraham from the blood path and walked it Himself, binding His own life to His promise. Each part reveals how this moment points directly to the cross, where Jesus becomes the torn Lamb who fulfills the covenant curse and secures our identity as God’s covenant people.
